How to generate Magento invoices for orders

Invoicing Magento Orders from Backend

1. Navigate to Sales -> Orders in store backend.







2. Select the order to be invoiced and open it.

Invoices can be generated for Magento orders with ‘Pending’ status. This will automatically change order status from ‘Pending’ to ‘Processing’


3. Press Invoice button on the order page after it opens.







4. Whenever partial invoice is to be generated, scroll down the page and insert quantity to invoice.


5. Insert comment in the box below at this page if necessary and check ‘Append Comment’ box to attach it to invoice.







6. Hit Submit Invoice button to complete procedure.








Once selected Magento order has been invoice, there comes notifying message. Now you can find created invoice under Orders->Invoices.








7. To print invoice just select the order, it has been generated for, open Actions dropdown in the upper right corner of this page and select Print Invoices from it.



PDF document with the invoice will be downloaded and you can print it out.

Bulk Generate Magento Invoices
